As March is National Veggie Month in the UK, we wanted to take the opportunity to introduce you to some of our favourite vegetarian dishes. Whether you’re after a nutritious breakfast, lunch, or something for your evening meal, we’ve got a wide selection of delicious vegetarian options at Nourish. Make sure to come and visit us, or view our menu online, to take a look at our full range of vegetarian dishes.
Porridge & Chia Jam
Coconut milk powder is used as a milk substitute, which makes this porridge dairy-free and suitable for vegans, whilst still tasting creamy. Our homemade jam is sugar-free, and made using nutrient dense chia seeds.
Nourish Full Veggie Breakfast
Eggs, tomato, mushrooms, veggie sausage and wholemeal toast. What more could you want? Make sure to add a dollop of Stokes Tomato or Brown Sauce.
Beans & Sausage
Popular with vegans and one of the more filling breakfast dishes. A slice of wholemeal toast, 2 Linda McCartney veggie sausages, Nourish homemade beans and a couple of cherry tomatoes.
Lift Yourself Box
If you enjoy fresh orange pieces in your salads, then try this one. Feta and orange-based salads have been very popular in the past, especially on days when the sun shines. The beetroot is kept raw and spiralised to add a welcoming crunch.
Mediterranean Sun Box
This salad comes well dressed and is packed full of flavour from the various herbs, garlic and olive oil. Our pesto is made using kale for extra nutritional benefits.
Nourish Grains Wrap
Introduced for the Spring Menu and very likely to be sticking around. A trusty combination of feta and pesto are the key players in this wrap, with the support of buckwheat, giant cous-cous and quinoa.
Roast Pepper & Egg
The chef’s favourite, and the eggs are free range!
Black & Red Bean Chilli
Plenty of spices in this one. It also has the addition off 100% cacao powder to give it a slight hint of chocolaty goodness. There is the option of having this dish served with rice, sweet potato or in a wrap.
All sweet potatoes are served on a bed of house salad leaf.
Chipotle Beans & Mozzarella
‘Better than Heinz’ some have said. The beans are cooked in a homemade chipotle sauce, and are used in the ‘Beans and Sausage’ breakfast dish. Also a popular option for children.
Sun-dried Tomato Hummus
A safe option if you’re after something less spicy than the other offerings. The sun-dried tomato used in the hummus compliments the flavour of the sweet potato perfectly.
There we have some of our favourite dishes for National Veggie Month. Have you tried any of them yet? We’d love to know what your favourites are, tweet us @nourishfastfood and let us know what you think to our vegetarian dishes!
