Introducing our new Winter menu for 2015/2016

We've been working to develop our new menu along with planning a new mini refit upgrade of both our Leeds 7 Sheffield stores, which we'll be implementing soon. But first, on to what new dishes we have and what has been happening with the food side of the business:

Firstly, we welcome Richard Walton-Allen who joins our team as Group Executive Chef and has had a big influence over our latest menu in only a short time being with the company. Richard's previous experience includes working at Harvey Nichols and also at Create. Not only will his experience be of great value to the business but his ethos around food and giving back is also one which really matches all that we're trying to achieve through Nourish. We're sure you're going to enjoy the food and influence he has had over our latest menu though!

New menu items

We've gone for some real classic winter warmers as well as tweaking some of our favourites.

New breakfast items include:

Our version of a bacon sandwich, something everyone can relate to. Ours comes with fat trimmed local bacon, a smokey chipotle sauce and sundried tomato and is served on a multiseed sub.

full veggie breakfast, including V Pud which is a vegan black pudding - tastes so good!

A range of Bircher pots made with our own chia seed jam

Chocolate Protein waffles to replace the protein pancakes. These come with coconut cream and blueberry chia sauce

Smoked salmon & rocket wrap

Beans & sausage on toast - We use Linda McCartney sausages and the beans are home made with our smokey chipotle sauce

Dont forget all of our breakfast items come with a free hot drink too!

We've updated  a few of the salads too, with a new falafel recipe for our falafel salad and also added a new superfood to our superfood salmon salad, the salmon is now baked in turmeric

Hot food

Topping the list and a favourite amongst the staff is the Nourish Shepherds pie, topped with a swede and sweet potato mash. We're using Yorkshire Lamb, from the Denby Dale region and we have full traceability something we're really keen to push forwards with. This is served with a spiced red cabbage, which will definitely keep you warm on a cold day.

Our turkey meatballs have been given a seasonal lift too as they now include a cranberry and sage seasoning and come served with quinoa.

Another new addition is our Pumpkin & Vegetable Masala. We're all familiar with a masala curry so we wanted to create our own seasonal, healthy version.

Miso Chicken is the final new addition, replacing the moroccan chicken dish. The dish includes aubergine and chickpeas and has rich deep flavour.

Our Bean chilli also gets a make over, we've added some extra kick due to customer demand but we've also added some 100% raw cacao too.

Desserts

Yes for the first time we ave put some effort in to adding some dessert type items to our menu and we think we've come up with some great one's too with a selection of non-dairy cheesecakes topped with our chia seed jam and also our sweet potato brownies, which we're confident will be a big hit.
